Wild songwriting Long Weekend
A 3 day songwriting workshop aimed at radical political and satirical writing. Who: Karl Dallas and Henry Lawrence What: Lectures in the morning, workshops in the afternoon, concert in the evening. We will provide food and shelter. Camping. Basic acoustic recording facilities. When: Friday July 10 to Sunday July 12 2009 Where: The Old School, Dyrham, Nr Bristol. Why: Encourage and develop the craft of writing songs. Songs that say something, and say it with wit and style. Songs that stir the soul. Songs to sing on the barricades, rather than on Eurovision.
